What is Tithing?
A tithe—which just means “tenth”—is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income before taxes or anything else comes out. The Bible says we can take the promises of God to the bank. When we bring our first and best back to God, He promises to bless the rest. We can’t outgive God.
Tithing is a huge step of obedience, but you’re not in this alone! We encourage you to try it out for 90 days, and see God work.

Do I have to give the first time I come?
No. If you’re visiting Hope Community Church, we don’t want you to feel any pressure to give. Your presence with us is a gift! Giving is something our regular attenders do as an act of worship and a way to support the ministries of Hope.
Can I give in person?
Yes! During Sunday services you can give by placing cash or checks in the offering. Secure black kiosks are also available at the auditorium doors if you prefer to drop off your gift there.
Can I set up recurring giving?
Absolutely. Setting up recurring giving is simple and secure. You can choose a schedule that works best for you, making it easy to stay consistent in generosity and support the ongoing ministries of Hope.
